March 16, 2010

FIRST & FOREMOST: HATS OFF TO AMTRAK!!!  What a way to go….

Here we are in Hy’s house near Philadelphia discussing the train journey so far. Last night we did a screening of the unedited footage at the ImaginAIRium, Meeting House, Spring City. Tomorrow morning at 7 we depart again northbound for New York on the final leg of the train journey. Busy, busy. Please stay tuned and for now video updates can be followed on the RedKruzer You Tube channel, linked on the right.

The Vimeo Version of the same video. Do you see a difference? Do you like the YouTube or the Vimeo Version better?

AGAIN : HOORAY FOR AMTRAK !!! What a way to go…

PS: On to NYC tomorrow too early, will later tomorrow, fly to Ireland, to march in the St.Patrick’s Day Waterford Ireland Parade…

Hooray For Damian Nixon who will sing out in 3 gigs in Derbyshire, Olde Englande – If near there on March 30-this is not one to miss…

Hy, Sean, That was great! I loved the screening!

You’ve successfully as well as spectacularly captured the life within the train ( How many wonderful interviews did you get? 20?) while simultaneously recording the ever changing passing landscape. Whether natural or manmade is was good stuff. The footage I saw was energizing.

It’s obvious a lot of work went into this and the potential for what you do with it is unlimited. There are many layers to the experience as it’s being covered from many angles and with expertise! Mesmerizing work.

I hope you two have a blast in Ireland. Good luck with your work and I’ll be checking in.
Thank you for having me…truly a lovely evening.

      Hi Mary,
Thank you for sharing “The Happening” with us.
It felt so good to relax and spend so much time with you.
I learned a great deal from our conversations,
mostly what an incredibly perceptive person you are.
      Best,
      Hy
